Dr Antigone Lanitis is a counselling psychologist with experience of working in various mental health charities in the UK as well as outpatient Eating Disorder Services in the NHS. She completed her Doctorate in Counselling Psychology in 2020 at City, University of London. Throughout her training she worked with children, adolescents and adults, but her work post training has been with adults.
She has experience working with different presentations such as depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, emotionally unstable personality disorder, as well as eating disorders such as binge eating disorder, anorexia and bulimia. Dr Lanitis is an integrative practitioner that has been trained in Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic and systemic approaches. Empathy, transparency and client autonomy are central to her therapeutic approach.
