Dr Elaine Ching is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working across hospital and community settings in both the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. Having obtained her BSc in Psychology from University College London, she went on to complete an MSc in International Health Management at Imperial College London Business School. She was then awarded a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University College London, and is now based in a London NHS Secondary Care Service.
Dr Ching is well practiced in the treatment of a wide range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder, personality disorder and psychosis, with individuals of varying ages.
She has expertise in delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and other Systemic approaches, be it individually, for families, or in groups.
She strongly believes in using an integrative and collaborative approach to ensure that therapy is well suited, tailored, and motivating for each individual.
