Dr Justyna Suchostawska

Counselling Psychologist

Dr Justyna Suchostawska is a Counselling Psychologist with experience working within the NHS, forensic settings, and voluntary organisations. Previous practice has included specialism in addictions and working with a wide range of mental health difficulties such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, psychosis and personality disorders. Justyna currently works in an NHS specialist persistent physical symptoms service, with people experiencing post covid syndrome, complex depression, anxiety, and emotional difficulties associated with chronic illness.

Justyna is an integrative relational psychologist, which means that she uses a range of different approaches to adapt therapy to meet the needs of the client. She predominantly works using psychodynamic approaches, focused on underlying issues and causes, often from the past, which impact on current life and relationships with others.

She offers therapy in both English and Polish.
