Kathryn Sowerby, a chartered clinical psychologist, has worked over the past fifteen years with a range of children, young people, adults and families. Beginning her career in performance psychology Kathryn worked with people struggling with crises of confidence, fear of failure or a lack of motivation. Kathryn then moved into settings where she worked more frequently with people struggling with simple and complex trauma.
Kathryn tends to work through the relationships we have – at home, at work, in social situations, and that relationship we have with ourselves- to explore why individuals may feel stuck or held back and ultimately to empower people to find a new way forward. She is trained in Cognitive Analytic Therapy, EMDR, CBT and the Safe and Sound Protocol.
