Dr Nicholas Johl

Clinical Psychologist

Dr Nicholas Johl is a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in carrying out psychological assessment and intervention for a broad range of difficulties within child and adult services. Dr Johl obtained his BSc in Psychology from Leeds Metropolitan University. Following this, he completed his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Warwick University and is currently working as a clinical lead supporting children in care.

Dr Johl has worked across a range of services supporting both children and adults who present with a range of mental health presentations. This includes vast experience of working with depression, anxiety, social anxiety, stress, anger, phobias, PTSD, complex trauma, personality disorders, psychosis, OCD and also supporting those with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

Dr Johl is proficient in delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing.
