Dr Renata Fialho is Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Researcher, with extensive experience working with adults with mental health difficulties. She completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in Lisbon and her PhD in chronic illness and neurocognition from University of Sussex. Currently Dr Renata Fialho works in an NHS specialist service at general hospital, having developed an extensive experiencing with Post covid syndrome, complex depression, anxiety, and emotional difficulties associated with chronic illness.
Dr Fialho has worked as a trial manager and trial therapist in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Randomized clinical trials, with a wide range of clinical presentations such as psychosis, trauma, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Dr Fialho published in several academic journals and still actively involved in mental health research. Dr Fialho is passionate about developing her professional skills and has experience of a range of psychological approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Social Recovery Therapy, Solution Focus Therapy and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy.
Dr Fialho values working with clients in a empathic and collaborative approach, dedicating the therapeutic time to support client to achieve their goals.
