Dr Rina Bajaj is a Counselling Psychologist and completed her Doctorate from City University, London in 2008. She is Chartered with the British Psychological Society and is a Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Professionals Council. She has been working within the field of mental health since 2004 and has varied experience with children, adolescents and adults. She is used to working with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and has worked within the NHS, statutory organisations, the corporate world and the voluntary sector. Rina’s areas of speciality include Dating/Relationships, particularly as she worked as a Specialist Matchmaker/Counselling Psychologist for an exclusive matchmaking and introduction agency. She is also well voiced on cultural issues and current issues and works with clients who experience anxiety, trauma and depression, amongst other common mental health concerns.
Rina has worked with many interesting clients over the years including YouTube stars, up and coming young celebrities, Reality TV personalities, high net worth individuals and musicians/artists.
Her private practice has worked with many corporate companies, including several universities, providing workshops and training on areas including staff well-being, mental health awareness, mindfulness and stress management. Rina is a regular contributor to national media and is a confident presenter having spoken at national emotional wellbeing conferences aimed at a range of professionals as well as speaking on various radio shows. She has created several expert videos on topics around mental health awareness. She most recently contributed to articles for The Daily Mirror and Times Education Suppliment as well as being a regular “Agony Aunt” for the online media platform Female First UK.
