Dr Shane Ford is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked within the NHS for 10 years. He has worked with a variety of individuals, including those experiencing physical health conditions (such as persistent pain, chronic fatigue, and fibromyalgia), and individuals with mild to severe mental health difficulties. Shane’s current role within the NHS involves delivering a range of therapies within the Adult Psychological Therapies service on an individual basis to people with a variety of difficulties (such as anxiety and depression).
He uses approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness. He describes himself as approachable, compassionate and down-to-earth, and is committed to helping people move towards a meaningful life in a direction that they value.
