Dr Ferreira qualified in 2006 and then went on to complete a Post-Graduate Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology. She is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist, as well as a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the BPS. Dr Ferreira has worked in a variety of settings, within the NHS and the private sector.

These include community mental health teams, memory clinics, forensic services, neurorehabilitation, amongst others. In her 15 years of post qualification experience she has helped adults and older adults address a wide range of mental health or neuropsychological difficulties/conditions. She has also been involved in service development, which included developing self-help materials.

Dr Ferreira approaches therapy with professionalism and a sense of humour, while providing a supportive and confidential environment. Her main therapeutic approach is CBT, however, therapy is tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client. Languages: English and Portuguese.
