Counselling Psychologist

Laura Constantinescu is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). Having obtained her Bsc in Psychology from Royal Holloway, University of London, she went on to complete an Msc in Counselling Psychology at Surrey University and a PgDip in the Practice of Counselling Psychology from Roehampton University.

Laura has 13 years of experience working with adults from various settings such as the private, public, and voluntary sector, as well as within clinical research settings. Laura has worked with clients presenting with a range of emotional and mental health difficulties such as anxiety, phobias, OCD, stress and burnout, depression, sleep difficulties, and family or relationship issues.

She specialises in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy, and she has worked with clients in a variety of issues such as adjustment to life changes, bereavement and loss, career and leadership, stress management, self-care, and mindfulness. Laura is also a qualified coach and she blends her experience as a therapist and as a coach in her work with clients. This allows her to not only explore and work with past pain, but also to support clients as the forge a more positive path for their future.
